Highland Park was founded in 1798 by Magnus Eunson, a direct descendant of Viking settlers who operated a legendary illicit still on the High Park site. Today, the distillery continues to honor its Norse heritage by selecting hand-turned floor malt and premium European oak sherry casks.
Crafted at the historic Highland Park distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, this whisky is shaped by the island's unique climate and treeless, heather-rich peat. The traditional floor maltings and cool maturation conditions impart a distinct coastal, aromatic character unlike mainland Scotch.
