Glenfiddich was founded by William Grant in 1886 with the help of his nine children in Dufftown, Scotland. To this day, the distillery remains family-owned, upholding a legacy of pioneering spirit and traditional craftsmanship across generations.
Deep in the heart of Speyside, Glenfiddich uses its own unique spring water source, the Robbie Dhu spring, which has remained unchanged since 1887. The whisky is carefully matured in the finest American oak and European oak sherry casks for at least 12 years inside traditional stone dunnage warehouses.
