The unpeated Islay classic with rich sherry depth
This classic Islay single malt is celebrated for its unpeated, maritime character, offering a distinct departure from the heavily smoked whiskies of the region. Double matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, it delivers a complex and beautifully balanced palate of rich dried fruits and gentle coastal air.

Founded by William Robertson and brothers Greenlees, Bunnahabhain was built in a remote location that required a road and a pier to be constructed alongside the distillery. This pioneering spirit remains central to the brand today, known globally for its traditional craft methods and non-chill filtered expressions.
The Bunnahabhain distillery was established in 1881 on the isolated northeastern coast of Islay, drawing its pure water from the Margadale Spring. Unlike its Islay neighbors, Bunnahabhain famously utilizes unpeated malted barley to let the coastal air and cask maturation define its signature spirit.
