Heaven Hill Distillery was founded in 1935 by the Shapira family shortly after the repeal of Prohibition. The Larceny brand was created to honor John E. Fitzgerald, a treasury agent whose legendary palate led him to select the finest wheated bourbon barrels from the rickhouses, a story famously known as the 'Old Fitzgerald' legacy.
Larceny Bourbon is produced at the historic Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, using a time-honored wheated mash bill. This technique replaces rye with winter wheat as the secondary grain, resulting in an exceptionally soft and rounded spirit.
