Copper Dog was created by Piers Adam, who purchased the historic Craigellachie Hotel in Speyside. He envisioned a democratic, easy-drinking Scotch that could be enjoyed by everyone, partnering with master blender Stuart Morrison to bring it to life.
The whisky is named after the 'copper dog', a historic pipe device used by distillery workers to sneak drams of maturing spirit home. It pays tribute to these rebels and is blended and bottled in the heart of Speyside.
