The Balvenie was founded by William Grant in 1892 in Dufftown, Scotland, adjacent to the historic Balvenie Castle. The distillery has remained family-owned for generations, preserving five rare crafts of whisky making that contribute to its celebrated, honeyed signature style.
Handcrafted in the Speyside region, this whisky is aged sequentially in traditional American oak whisky casks and Spanish oak sherry casks. The Balvenie distillery still grows its own barley and employs an in-house coppersmith and team of coopers to maintain their stills and barrels.
