Founded in 1843 by William Matheson in the Scottish Highlands, Glenmorangie has long been a pioneer in wood management and cask finishing. Led by Director of Whisky Creation Dr. Bill Lumsden, the distillery continues to push the boundaries of single malt maturation from its historic home in Tain.
Crafted in Scotland's tallest stills, which are the height of an adult giraffe, this whisky's unusually pure vapors create a wonderfully elegant and floral spirit. It is then finished in French Sauternes casks, which are notoriously difficult to source but impart an unparalleled pastry-like richness.
