Founded in 1870 by George Garvin Brown, Old Forester is famously known as the first bourbon to be exclusively sold in sealed glass bottles to ensure quality and integrity. It is the only bourbon brand continuously distilled and marketed by its founding family before, during, and after Prohibition.

Every drop of this historic bourbon is distilled and matured at the legendary Brown-Forman distillery and rickhouses in Louisville, Kentucky. It is crafted utilizing the exact same mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley that has defined the brand's signature spice for over a century.
