Founded in 1815 by brothers Donald and Alexander Johnston, Laphroaig Distillery is one of the iconic distilleries of Islay. Known for its medicinal, intensely peaty character, it has remained a favorite of Scotch enthusiasts and holds a Royal Warrant from King Charles III.
This single malt Scotch is crafted on the rugged south coast of Islay, where the whisky is dried over local peat. The spirit is aged in a unique selection of American oak casks, including Oloroso sherry, white oak, and seasoned hogsheads, before a final marry in new American oak.
