The story behind it
The maker
Introduced in 2010 by Proximo Spirits, The Kraken is named after the legendary sea monster of myth and legend. Its distinctive Victorian-style bottle features two handles, modeled after the eyes of the giant squid.
How it is made
The Kraken Black Spiced Rum is distilled in Trinidad from sweet molasses made from locally grown sugar cane. This rum is aged in oak barrels for one to two years before being infused with a proprietary blend of eleven spices.
