The story behind it

The maker

Originally founded by Charles Nelson in the late 1800s, Green Brier was forced to close during Prohibition. Decades later, his great-great-great-grandsons, Andy and Charlie Nelson, discovered the family heritage and reopened the distillery in Nashville to bring back their ancestor's iconic Tennessee whiskey.

How it is made

This whiskey is produced at the resurrected Nelson's Green Brier Distillery using a triple-filtration process through sugar maple charcoal. It honors the original 19th-century Nashville recipe that helped make the brand one of the largest whiskey producers of its time.
