Stella Artois boasts a rich brewing heritage dating back over 600 years in the historic town of Leuven. Under the guidance of master brewer Sebastian Artois, who took over in 1717, the brewery cemented its reputation for high-quality European craft standards.
Originating in Leuven, Belgium, this legendary lager trace its roots back to the Den Hoorn brewery established in 1366. It was first brewed in 1926 as a special Christmas beer, named Stella after the star of Bethlehem.
