The story behind it

The maker

Gianni Masciarelli founded the winery in San Martino sulla Marrucina with a vision to unlock the potential of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Today, his wife Marina Cvetić and daughter Miriam carry on his legacy, producing world-class wines that bridge traditional depth with modern precision.

How it is made

Established in 1981, Masciarelli has been a driving force in raising the profile of Abruzzo's native grapes. The grapes are harvested from sustainably managed estate vineyards and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve pristine varietal character.
