The story behind it
Bodegas La Purísima was founded in 1946 by a cooperative of local growers in Yecla who joined forces to elevate the quality of their regional wines. Today, they manage some of the finest old-vine Monastrell plots in southeastern Spain, combining traditional Mediterranean viticulture with modern winemaking techniques.
Deep in the Yecla DO of Spain, Bodegas La Purísima harnesses the unique continental-mediterranean climate to cultivate expressive Monastrell-based blends. The winery utilizes dry-farmed, low-yielding old vines that impart incredible concentration and mineral depth to their wines.
