Bold Prohibition-style Cabernet with rich dark fruit and oak
Inspired by the bold, rebellious spirit of Prohibition, this rich California Cabernet Sauvignon delivers intense dark fruit aromas framed by toasted oak and vanilla. The palate is velvety and full-bodied, showcasing layers of blackberry jam, sweet spices, and a smooth, lingering finish.

Gnarly Head was launched in 2004 with a focus on bold, structured wines from old, head-trained Zinfandel vines in Lodi. The '1924' series pays homage to the year the family-owned winery's first vineyards were planted, referencing the Prohibition era when grape growers shipped fruit to home winemakers.
Crafted from select vineyards in Lodi, California, where warm days and cool delta breezes allow grapes to ripen fully. The winemaking team employs traditional fermentation techniques combined with toasted oak aging to extract maximum color, depth, and structural complexity.
