Founders Brewing Company was established in 1897 in Grand Rapids, Michigan by Mike Stevens and Dave Engbers. After nearly going bankrupt making standard beers, they pivoted to crafting bold, full-flavored aromatics that they themselves wanted to drink.
Brewed at Founders Brewing Company using a complex array of malts and grains to keep the body satisfying despite the lower alcohol. The recipe was designed to maximize hop aromatics while maintaining clean, thirst-quenching drinkability.
