The story behind it
Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. was founded by Mike Sildar and Sheila Dance out of their residential garage in 2016. Named after their beloved orange cat, Billy, the brewery quickly gained a cult following for its whimsical cat-themed label art and remarkably soft, hazy IPAs.
Established as a small farm-brewery in East Hampton, Connecticut, Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. focuses on high-quality, small-batch creations. They specialized in exceptionally fresh, hop-forward ales before joining the Twelve Percent Beer Project collective to scale production.
