Downeast Cider House was founded in 2011 by college friends Ross Brockman and Tyler Mosher with a simple mission: to build the best cider on the market. From their humble beginnings in Maine to expanding their state-of-the-art canning brewhouse in Massachusetts, they have stayed committed to using real, fresh-pressed ingredients.
Born in the heart of East Boston, Downeast Cider House is built on the foundation of utilizing only freshly pressed local apples. By avoiding filtration and pasteurization, the brewery maintains the raw, authentic character of farm-fresh orchard fruit in every batch.
