The story behind it
Founded in 1873 by German immigrant Adolph Coors, the brewery was built in Colorado to secure access to pristine Rocky Mountain spring water. Known as 'The Banquet Beer,' it earned its name from the mining banquets held in the Clear Creek Canyon where miners celebrated hard work with cold beer.
Coors Banquet has been proudly brewed at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Golden, Colorado since 1873. The brewery utilizes a traditional four-vessel brewing process and a slow, cold-aging method to achieve its signature refinement.
