Founded in 1873 by German immigrant Adolph Coors, the brewery was established in Golden, Colorado, to take advantage of the pristine mountain spring water. Despite Prohibition and changing market trends, Coors remained a family-controlled legacy, celebrated for its historic stubby bottles and iconic Banquet heritage.
