Founded in 2012 by a wine salesman, a chemist, and a farmer, Citizen Cider set out with a mission to bring cider back to the people. By working directly with local growers, they have revitalized the Vermont cider landscape from their state-of-the-art facility in Burlington.
Citizen Cider was born in Burlington, Vermont, utilizing 100% locally sourced tree-ripe apples from historic Champlain Valley orchards. By utilizing a Belgian ale yeast strain, the brewhouse creates a unique, beer-influenced profile that sets it apart from traditional sweet ciders.
