Founded in 2011 in Burlington, Vermont by Justin Heilenbach, Bryan Holmes, and Kris Nelson, Citizen Cider started as a small-scale operation driven by a passion for local agriculture. They have grown into a leading regional craft cider house celebrated for working directly with local orchardists and pushing flavor boundaries.
Citizen Cider was founded on the idea of bringing the cider-making tradition back to the people using locally sourced ingredients. This seasonal release is crafted in small batches at their Vermont-based cidery using 100% fresh-pressed local apples.
