Captain Lawrence Brewing Company was founded in 2006 by Scott Vaccaro in Westchester County, New York. Inspired by his passion for West Coast-style IPAs and Belgian-style ales, Vaccaro named the brewery after Captain Lawrence Drive, where his childhood home was located.
