Barefoot Cellars was originally started in 1965 by California winemaker Davis Bynum, who famously crushed grapes in his garage. The brand was spectacularly reimagined in 1986 by entrepreneurs Michael Houlihan and Bonnie Harvey, who renamed it Barefoot and introduced the iconic footprint logo with a mission to make wine fun and accessible to everyone.
