The maker
Founded in 1825 by John Wray, who opened the Shakespeare Tavern in Kingston, the brand flourished when his nephew Charles James Ward joined him in 1862. Together they established J. Wray & Nephew, transforming the business into one of Jamaica's most historic and celebrated rum blenders.
How it is made
