The maker
Volcan de Mi Tierra was founded in 2017 as a collaborative venture between the Gallardo family, who have deep roots in Jalisco, and the luxury group LVMH. Their shared vision was to build an authentic tequila distillery that respects traditional craftsmanship while embracing modern precision.
How it is made
Produced at the NOM 1523 distillery in the shadow of the Tequila Volcano, this liquid represents a unique marriage of terroir. It utilizes traditional masonry ovens and modern autoclave cooking alongside copper pot still distillation to capture the best of both worlds.
