A bright, juicy Barbera celebrating family and Italian tradition
This expressive Barbera d'Alba opens with intense aromas of ripe plums, blackberries, and fresh violets. On the palate, it delivers a succulent core of dark fruit, licorice, and black pepper, balanced by a vibrant, racy acidity and silky tannins.

The Viberti story began in 1923 when Antonio Viberti purchased the Locanda del Buon Padre in the commune of Barolo, crafting wines to serve at the family inn. La Gemella, meaning 'The Twin,' is a special bottling dedicated by winemaker Claudio Viberti to his mother, Maria, honoring her vibrant spirit and family devotion.
Crafted from family-owned vineyards in the Piedmont region of northwest Italy, this classic Barbera is fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve its pure fruit character. The estate winery & vineyard focuses on traditional Langhe expressions, ensuring every bottle displays local typicity and energetic acidity.
