Founded in the late 1800s and purchased by the Trinchero family in 1948, Sutter Home Winery in Napa Valley is one of the most historic and influential family-owned wineries in America. The winery is universally recognized for pioneering White Zinfandel and making premium California wines accessible to everyone.
Sutter Home introduced White Zinfandel to the world in 1972 after a fortunate winemaking accident created a slightly sweet, pink wine. The estate has since perfected this style, using cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the grape's fresh fruit character.
