Founded in 1791 within a Benedictine monastery, Rothaus is situated at an elevation of 1,000 meters in the high Black Forest of Germany. The brewery is famous for its combination of traditional brewing methods, pure mountain water, and its iconic label featuring the mascot 'Biergit' holding two pinecones.
