The story behind it
Rodney Strong Vineyards was founded in 1959 by Rodney Strong, a former professional dancer who was a true pioneer of Sonoma County wine growing. Today, the family-owned winery continues to champion estate vineyards and sustainable winegrowing practices across Sonoma.
Grown in the warm Alexander Valley, where the soils are primarily gravelly loam, providing excellent drainage and ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are carefully harvested and aged in French oak barrels to impart complexity and refine the structure.
