Proemio was founded in 2001 by Marcelo Bocardo with the goal of producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of Mendoza. As a third-generation winemaker of Italian descent, Marcelo combines ancestral heritage with modern, sustainable viticultural practices.
Crafted at the Proemio winery & vineyard in the Maipú sub-region of Mendoza, Argentina. The grapes are sourced from sustainably farmed, high-altitude estate vineyards that benefit from dramatic diurnal temperature shifts.
