Founded in 1979 as La Crema Viñera by Rod Berglund in the Russian River Valley, the winery has spent decades mastering cool-climate winemaking. Today, under the stewardship of the Jackson family, the estate remains committed to expressive single-appellation Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
La Crema utilizes cool-climate viticulture to craft wines with distinct elegance and balance, sourcing fruit from the windy, fog-shrouded Monterey AVA. Gentle pressing and fermenting in a combination of French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks preserve the natural acidity while adding subtle complexity.
