Founded in 1691 by Joannes Nolet, the Nolet Distillery has been passed down through ten generations of the Nolet family. Ketel One was launched in 1983 by Carolus Nolet, who combined over three centuries of family distilling expertise with a vision for a modern, ultra-premium wheat vodka.
Distilled at the historic Nolet Distillery in Schiedam, Netherlands, using a combination of modern column distillation and traditional copper pot stills. The vodka is named after the oldest coal-fired copper pot still still in use at the distillery, Distilleerketel No. 1.
