Herencia Altés was founded in 2010 by Nuria Altés, who wanted to champion the historic viticultural heritage of her family in the Terra Alta appellation. Guided by her partner Rafael De Haan, the estate has grown to showcase the brilliant purity, energy, and value of native Garnatxa varieties.
Deep in the high-altitude Terra Alta region of Catalonia, the Garnatxa Blanca vines thrive in sandy, limestone-rich soils swept by the dry Cierzo wind. This winery & vineyard focuses on sustainable practices to craft highly expressive, organic expressions of local grape varieties.
