The story behind it
Harpoon Brewery was founded in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1986 by Dan Kenary, Rich Doyle, and George Ligeti. They wanted to bring great, locally-brewed craft beer to the area and became the first company to obtain a commercial brewing license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in over 25 years.
Brewed by Harpoon Brewery, a pioneer in the American craft beer movement since the mid-1980s. This beer utilizes an innovative dip hopping process where hops are added to the fermenter before the wort is run, maximizing clean hop aromatics.
