Downeast Cider House was founded in 2011 by college friends Ross Brockman and Tyler Mosher in Boston, Massachusetts. Driven by a desire to rescue cider from the overly sweet, artificial mainstream market, they committed to using only fresh-pressed, local apples and never filtering their product.
Downeast Cider House was built on the belief that cider should taste like fresh-pressed apples, keeping their products unfiltered and true to the fruit. Their craft brewhouse utilizes a proprietary fermentation process and local New England apples to create intensely flavorful, unfiltered ciders.
