The story behind it
Founded in 2011 by college friends Ross Brockman and Tyler Mosher in Maine, Downeast Cider House eventually relocated its main operations to East Boston. Their commitment to unfiltered, fresh-pressed local apples revolutionized the American craft cider market.
Downeast Cider House was built on the belief that cider should be crafted using freshly pressed apples and zero artificial ingredients. Their unfiltered fermentation process ensures maximum fruit character and a hazy, authentic presentation direct from the brewhouse.
