The story behind it
The maker
The Camarena family has been farming agave in the highlands of Jalisco since 1860, making them one of the region's most respected names in agriculture. In 2010, the family launched the Familia Camarena brand to share their heritage of authentic, highland tequila production with a global audience.
How it is made
Made at the renowned Arandas distillery, this tequila is produced using traditional brick ovens and deep well water. The high-altitude terroir of Los Altos de Jalisco provides optimal growing conditions for the sweet blue agave.
