The maker
Originally blended by MacDuff International, Islay Mist carries a historic pedigree that was designed specifically for celebrations on the rugged Scottish coast. It remains one of the few blends permitted to use the word Islay in its name, honoring its deep island roots.
How it is made
Created on the isle of Islay in the 1920s to celebrate the 21st birthday of the Lord Margadale. The blend was designed to offer the legendary peat of Laphroaig but tempered with smoother Speyside malts for a broader crowd.
