The story behind it
Founded in 2005 in Washington State, 14 Hands Winery was inspired by the wild horses that once roamed the Columbia River basin. These small, spirited horses, measuring just 14 hands tall, left their mark on the landscape, mirroring the bold and resilient character of the wines crafted here today.
The fruit for this Riesling was harvested from select vineyards in Washington's prestigious Columbia Valley, where long, warm summer days and cool nights preserve natural acidity. Cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks was utilized to retain the expressive floral aromas and fresh fruit character of the varietal.
