Goslings Rum was founded in 1806 when James Gosling, aboard the ship Mercury, arrived in Bermuda and opened a shop in St. George's. By 1857, the family had developed the iconic Black Seal dark rum recipe, which has been passed down through generations for over two centuries.
This exceptional overproof rum is produced in Bermuda utilizing both continuous pot and column still distillates. It is aged in charred American oak casks to develop its distinctive color and rich depth of flavor before bottling at 151 proof.
