The brand is named after the legendary 17th-century Welsh privateer and governor of Jamaica, Sir Henry Morgan. Established in 1944 by Seagram, the brand popularized spiced rum globally and is now produced by Diageo at its state-of-the-art distillery in St. Croix.
This spiced rum is crafted from a continuous-still distillate of sugarcane molasses. The spirit is aged in charred white oak barrels before being blended with a proprietary recipe of natural spices and Caribbean flavors.
