Broken Shed was founded in 2009 by American expatriates Steve Green and Mark Elsmith in an old, broken-down shed in Wanaka, New Zealand. Inspired by the purity of the local landscape and water, they set out to create a truly unique vodka that honors New Zealand's natural resources and pioneering spirit.
Broken Shed is crafted in the pristine Wanaka region of New Zealand, utilizing two distinct water sources: naturally mineral-filtered forest spring water and ancient glacial water. The spirit is distilled from 100% pure New Zealand whey, a natural and sustainable byproduct of the local dairy industry.
