Widow Jane was founded in 2012 in the artisanal neighborhood of Red Hook, Brooklyn. Named after the historic Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, NY, the distillery focuses on using mineral-rich waters and unique heirloom corn varietals to craft whiskies with intense local character.
This exceptional whiskey is aged for 13 years in hyper-charred new American oak barrels at the brand's facility. It is proofed using the legendary limestone mineral water from the historic Rosendale mines in upstate New York, which imparts a unique, soft mouthfeel.
