Plantation Rum was founded by Alexandre Gabriel of Maison Ferrand, who set out to explore the historic rum-producing terroir of the Caribbean. By introducing a signature double-aging process, the brand bridges traditional Caribbean distillation with historic French cellar expertise.
This rum is distilled in Barbados using both traditional twin-column and pot stills before initial aging in ex-bourbon casks. It is then transported to the Cognac region of France for a secondary maturation in toasted French oak barrels.
