Founded in 1872, Radeberger Exportbierbrauerei established itself as a pioneer of German Pilsner culture. In 1905, King Frederick Augustus III of Saxony declared Radeberger as the 'Official State Drink' of the royal court, solidifying its legendary status in German brewing history.

Brewed in Radeberg near Dresden since 1872, Radeberger Pilsner was the first brewery in Germany to brew exclusively in the Pilsner style. Crafted using the soft water of the brewery's own well and selected Saxon hops, it quickly became a favorite of the Saxon royal court.
