The story behind it

The maker

Bumbu Rum Co. pays homage to the legendary recipes of 16th and 17th-century West Indian sailors who blended native Caribbean ingredients into their spirits. Packaged in a heavy glass bottle adorned with a tarnished metal 'X', the brand has become a global cultural phenomenon championed by top creators and spirits enthusiasts alike.

How it is made

Distilled at a historic Barbadian distillery founded in 1893, this expression utilizes local spring water filtered through natural coral limestone. The rum is aged for up to 15 years in once-use American bourbon barrels to achieve its legendary depth and roundness.
