Barr Hill750 ml43% ABV

A bold barrel-aged gin sweetened with raw wildflower honey

This exceptional barrel-aged gin is crafted by finishing Barr Hill's signature honey-infused spirit in new charred American oak casks. The result is a remarkably robust and complex gin that successfully bridges the gap between botanical spirit and fine whiskey.

The story behind it

The maker

Caledonia Spirits was founded in 2009 by Todd Hardie, a lifelong beekeeper who wanted to connect Vermont's agriculture directly to craft distillation. Head Distiller Ryan Christiansen continues this mission today, utilizing local agricultural ingredients to showcase the unique terroir of the Northeast Kingdom.

How it is made

Produced by Caledonia Spirits at their state-of-the-art distillery & production estate in Montpelier, Vermont, this gin utilizes raw northern wildflower honey added just before bottling. It is aged for several months in new charred American oak barrels to impart a whiskey-like character without losing its core botanical identity.
