The smooth, citrus-forward pioneer of American dry gin

An incredibly smooth, balanced, and citrus-forward American gin that redefines the classic juniper-heavy style. It features a unique blend of seven botanicals, including lavender, cardamom, and sarsaparilla, to deliver a softer, highly versatile spirit.

The story behind it

The maker

Founded in 2006 by bartender Ryan Magarian and distiller Christian Krogstad, Aviation American Gin was born out of a quest to create a more democratic and mixable gin. The brand achieved global fame after actor Ryan Reynolds acquired an ownership stake in 2018, bringing its approachable, cocktail-friendly style to a worldwide audience.

How it is made

Crafted at House Spirits Distillery in Portland, Oregon, this pioneer of the American Dry style shifts focus away from traditional dominant juniper toward bright citrus and soft floral botanicals. Its unique recipe utilizes a maceration and distillation process designed to extract the most delicate aromatic essential oils.
