The story behind it
Founded in 2001 by Filippo and Maria Casella, the Casella family began making wine in Australia after immigrating from Sicily. Yellow Tail was launched with the goal of creating great tasting, approachable wines that everyone could enjoy on any occasion.
Crafted in the Riverina region of New South Wales, this wine represents Australia's approach to approachable, fruit-forward winemaking. The warm Mediterranean climate of the region helps to fully ripen the grapes while preserving natural acidity.
